While the Times Square location of Rum House may scream "tourist trap!" it is, in fact, one of the few remaining classy bars in this area. The Rum House serves all manner of alcoholic beverages, not just rum, and they're all strong. Come in the evening and enjoy the live jazz played by one of Rum House's talented pianists. No open mic night here, but that may be a welcome reprieve if you just want to relax after spending time in the bustling square.
